It was a very strange moment. At the weekly press conference for Senate Republicans, Minority Leader Mitch McConnell began as follows.

"Good afternoon, everyone. We're on a path to finishing the NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) this week, there's been good bipartisan cooperation and a string of…"

"You OK, Mitch?" Sen. John Barrasso (R-Wy) asked. "Is there anything else you want to say or should we just go back to your office?"

He was lead away and others in the group started to talk to the press. After about ten minutes, McConnell returned and answered the press's questions. telling reporters who asked about the strange moment that he was "fine". We are told he was feeling "light headed" and therefore stepped away from the podium. Except that is not what we all saw with our own eyes.

He's 81. To me age is never an issue. Mental strength is. Grassley, for example, is very sharp and he is much older. What do you think? After yesterday's freeze up, is it time for Mitch McConnell to step down?
