As far as I know, he's still on vacation, but the rumors continue to swirl that President Joe Biden won't be the Democratic Party's nominee for POTUS in 2024.
First of all, there are many party members who feel it should be someone else, with RFK Jr polling at 19% last time I looked.
Secondly, there is an act of immense disrespect apparently about to take place, with California Governor Gavin Newsom fixing to debate Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Biden and VP Harris are apparently not pleased at all about this.
Then we need to look at this.
- He only has a small crew of fundraisers all based in Delaware.
- He has not travelled to anywhere strategic
- He stayed on the "no comment" beach while Maui burned
- He and his team including campaign manager Julie Chavez are not doing TV to avoid Hunter questions.
When you take it all together, you could be forgiven for thinking he won't be running in 2024.
