Big Show Big Salute to Scale-Tec as they begin making COVID-19 face shields

Here's a letter that went out to customers of Scale-Tec in Eastern Iowa, and we provide a Big Show Big Salute to those folks for pitching in during this time of need:

Due to the shortage of Personal Protective Equipment caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, we are manufacturing 5,000 plastic face shields to donate to medical providers in need. If you are in a place to do so, please join our efforts in fighting the spread of COVID-19 and protecting the healthcare professionals who are out on the front line. You can donate here.

Your donation will help pay for the materials used to produce these shields. All materials are being sourced from vendors in the United States, and Scale-Tec is manufacturing and delivering the shields to medical facilities at no charge.

The design used for the shield was developed by engineers at the University of Wisconsin, approved by the university's hospital, and made available for public use. You can read more about the design and the need for plastic face shields by clicking the links below:

We are a family, we are a community, and we are all in this together. We hope this message finds you and your loved ones in good health and spirit.

Great job to Nick and Kenny and everyone who is helping out!
