If you were registered for the WHO Great Iowa Tractor Ride, we need to hear from you today! In case you missed the announcement, due to COVID-19 there will not be a WHO Tractor Ride this year but there will be a Big Show 2020 Tractorcade!
After receiving a lot of input from sponsors, tractor riders, staff and site partners; we found that the spacing modifications that would be necessary to do a safe event at the Warren County Fairgrounds this year are just too challenging and would diminish the experience that riders have come to expect from the WHO Tractor Ride.
Fortunately we have been able to collaborate with our colleagues at WMT-AM in Cedar Rapids to present a joint event,The Big Show 2020 Tractorcade, from Sunday, Aug. 2nd to Weds, Aug. 5th. This will be headquartered at the Jones County Fairgrounds in Monticello, Iowa.
This is possible because the Jones County Fairgrounds are much larger and allow for more precautionary measures to be utilized.
IF YOU ARE ALREADY REGISTERED FOR THE 2020 WHO TRACTOR RIDE:
A letter was mailed on June 24th to all registered drivers. This letter has detailed info on the options available to you.
Here is a brief summary of that letter:
Anyone who has already registered for the WHO Tractor Ride has a spot being held for them through Monday, July 6th, to give them time to evaluate if they are interested in attending the Big Show Tractorcade.
The options are:
1) Attend The Big Show 2020 Tractorcade.
2) Carryover their 2020 WHO Tractor Ride registration to the 2021 WHO Tractor Ride.
