Drought is shrinking the crop quickly in NW Iowa

Our good Big Show Buddy Paul Kassel, ISU Extension Agronomist in Northwest Iowa, sends in these pictures:

He says it's 103 day hybrid, corn on corn, no N deficiency symptoms, healthy looking field. 2.1 inches of rain since June 18. Pick and weigh method says 150 bu/a. Lots of change in the past week, and spider mites in soybeans:
