Tim Dwight, former Iowa Hawkeye, former Altanta Falcon and former New England Patriot, joined us by phone this morning to talk about playing for the Falcons and the Patriots. When asked who he would be pulling for in the Super Bowl...he didn't even hesitate...it was Falcons all the way! He said Tom Brady didn't give you much warning when he was throwing to you...you had to see it in his eyes and then you knew it was coming. Nate Teut of the Iowa Cubs joined us by phone this morning just after the 7:30 news. Today from 10-11:30AM, the Chicago Cubs World Series Trophy is on display and you can get your photo taken with it. Wristbands will be handed out to the first 500 people in line and if time allows after that, additional fans will be accommodated. Nate says they are hoping to get it back for an Iowa Cubs game this spring or summer.
Chase Carlson, the Target employee whose video is going viral joined us by phone just after the 6:30 news. He is a supervisor at the Target in Urbandale that keeps his team motivated by doing a little dance for them. Check out the video on the Van and Bonnie Facebook page!
