ISU Coach Steve Prohm has chosen the Lupus Foundation, Iowa Chapter, as his charity in the ESPN Infiniti Coaches Charity Challenge. Every vote he receives on every day gets the Lupus Foundation one step closer to receiving $100,000 to help Iowans deal with Lupus. You can vote once per day, every day. Gary Slater, CEO of the Iowa State Fair, joined us in the studio this morning just after the 7:30 news. It's income tax season and that's an important time to remember YOUR Iowa State Fair. There is a "Corndog Checkoff" on your Iowa State tax form where you con contribute a part of your refund to go to the Iowa State Fair Blue Ribbon Foundation to help renovate YOUR fairgrounds! If you are not getting a refund, you can still check the box and contribute. Plus, contributions to the Corndog Checkoff are fully tax-deductible! If you do not do your own taxes, be sure to let your tax preparer know that you want to contribute. Thank you for your loyalty to our great Iowa State Fair!
