Mike Schreurs of Strategic America joined us in the studio this morning at 7:15 to talk Super Bowl commercials. Mike's favorites included the Melissa McCarthy Kia commercial and the Bai commercial with Justin Timberlake. He thought the commercials at the beginning of the game were not good, but they got better as the game went along. Van's favorite was the Tide commercial with Terry Bradshaw. I really liked the Melissa McCarthy Kia commercial and the Buick commercial with Cam Newton....the Mr. Clean commercial was funny too! As far as whether they are worth $5 million each and how effective the commercials were, Mike said some advertisers just like the buzz of being in the Super Bowl.
Super Bowl predictions....Mark Allen, Tom Noller, Van, Bonnie, Joe Gomez and Leila Rush all made predictions on Friday at 8:20AM. We all picked the Falcons to win EXCEPT Leila! So Congratulations to Leila our winner!!!
