Special Needs Kids Easter Egg Hunt This Weekend! Win Def Leopard Tickets! (Bonnie's blog 4-6-17)

Pastor Darrick Young of Journey Church joined us in the studio this morning just after the 8:30 news. Journey Church is doing their 5th Annual Special Needs Easter Egg Hunt & Carnival this Saturday afternoon at Valley Stadium from 3-5PM.  There is an egg hunt for blind children that has eggs that beep so they can find them.  There is an egg hunt for kids in wheelchairs where the eggs have magnets attached and each child is given a magnetic pole to retrieve the eggs.  There is a very quiet, serene egg hunt for kids with autism.  It looks like the weather will be great this year; however, should that change, the Easter Egg Hunts will be held inside Southwoods Freshman Campus.  To register your child or get more information, go to www.specialeggevent.com.

The secret sound this morning was grilled fried rice on a hibachi grill.  The tie-in to the news is Susan Rice being grilled today.

Congratulations to Diane on winning the Chris Stapleton tickets today!  We have one last pair of tickets to give away tomorrow morning on Van and Bonnie.  We'll also have the Friday morning news quiz for your chance to win a $20.00 Sully's Irish Pub gift certificate.

Be sure to come see us at Midwest Construction on Saturday morning for your chance to win Def Leopard tickets!

Enjoy the sunshine!
