Polaris, a company known for their off-road vehicles, motorcycles and snowmobiles, is closing their plant in the Iowa city of Milford. The plant has been in operation since 2013, but will now be stopping production of all-terrain and utility vehicles at the Milford plant. The company, based out of the Minneapolis suburb Medina, will be shifting the production to sites in Alabama, Minnesota and California. Polaris spokeswoman Kelly Basgen told the Sioux City Journal between 275 and 300 workers will be out of a job.
