From a genie to yoga poses and even a breast feeding mother, the next system update in your phone will include 56 new emojis. It seems like just yesterday, we only had 56 emojis total, and that seemed like a lot, but the little cartoon symbols are bigger than ever.
According to a recent report, 2.3 trillion (with a T!) messages incorporating emojis were expected to have been sent in 2016.
Why are emoji's so popular? They're the new universal language. They originated in Japan and have since spread to every corner of the world.
What else can you expect? Zombies, dumplings, and a 'mind-blown' emoji to name a few. To get the new set all you have to do is update your phone. If you see something that you think is missing, anyone can propose a new emoji idea here.
