A Boone woman walked into the county law enforcement center last night and told Boone County deputies she stabbed 65 year old Joe Wirth to death.
59 year old Mary Myers said it was during a fight with the man she shared a house with. Wirth died of multiple stab wounds.
Myers has been charged with first degree murder. She's currently in the Boone County Jail. The state medical examiner's planning to do an autopsy on Wirth's body Thursday.
