SIOUX CITY, IA - Two Sioux City boys face felony charges for vandalizing beehives on a honey farm and killing a half-million bees.

Police arrested the 12 and 13 year old boys, who are charged with First Degree Criminal Mischief and Agricultural Animal Offenses.

Every beehive at the Wild Hill Honey farm was knocked over, killing 500-thousand bees.

The Sioux City Journal reports no insurance companies offer beehive coverage, and the damage is estimated at $50 to $60-thousand dollars.  The owners say donations will allow them to rebuild the honey farm in the spring.
