Small plane crashes near Harlan, Iowa airport

HARLAN, Iowa-   A small airplane crashed just after 9 o'clock this (Wednesday) morning south of the Harlan Airport in western Iowa, about 100 miles west of Des Moines.

Olie Pash with the Harlan Airport tells WHO Radio News the pilot was just taking off, but clipped a fence and the aircraft ended upside.  The pilot was not injured.
