Woman used West Des Moines ATM-skimmer cleaned out her account

Credit card customers aren't the only ones being victimized by skimmers that steal data.  Katie Beghtel used her ATM card at the Greater Iowa Credit Union ATM machine that had a skimmer installed and thieves cleaned out her bank account.

Beghtel says she lost over 700 dollars at the time she was trying to pay bills.

West Des Moines police believe the suspect could have been a man (pictured) who installed a skimmer at the Casey's store at 22nd and University about the same time.

Katie says she's gotten "most" of her money back. But it's been frustrating.  West Des Moines police say there have been at least 8 people who've come forward to say they were victimized at this location.
