DES MOINES, Iowa- Des Moines Police say a man shot and killed at a south side business this morning, has been identified as 37-year-old Amud Haarstad, of Fergus Falls, Minnesota.
The business owner, Thomas Kraft, told police early this morning the shooting happened during a confrontation with a burglar. No criminal charges have been filed. Police say Kraft was taken to a local hospital with an unrelated medical condition.
