DUBUQUE, Iowa - A man wanted in a string of burglaries across several states, including Iowa was caught in Colorado.

The Dubuque County Sheriff's Office says Jeffrey Krieger has been arrested.  He's accused of breaking into businesses in Dubuque and Guttenberg, and wanted in connection with burglaries in three other states, as well.

The Dubuque County Sheriff  believes Krieger is one of two people who broke into Eichman's in Dubuque County, and Pronto Market in Guttenberg.

KCRG-TV 9 reports Krieger also has seven active warrants in 11 burglaries in Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota.

Investigators say Krieger targets gas stations and golf pro shops, and also uses the alias Anthony Hesseldenz, and has an Illinois drivers license with the false name.
