Three women killed in western Iowa crash

CRAWFORD COUNTY, Iowa- Three women were killed in an early morning crash in western Iowa. The Iowa State Patrol says 52-year-old Penny Hulsebus of Defiance was driving north on Highway 59, after 5 o'clock when her van crossed the center line and hit an SUV head on.

Hulsbus was killed, as were two female passengers in the SUV, 48-year-old Maria Hernandez and 42- year-old Ericka Dionicio both of Denison.

Two men in the SUV, 50-year-old Herme Hernandez and 46-year-old Saul Orellana, both of Denison were injured and taken to the Crawford County hospital, then transferred to University of Nebraska Medical Center.
