Des Moines Police say elderly woman with dementia drove away Sunday night

Des Moines Police Sunday night were asking the public's help in locating a woman with dementia who drove away from a Southeast side home.

75 year old Lynn Crenshaw left the 74 hundred block of Southeast 23rd Street driving a grey vehicle around 4:30pm. Police don't know her destination but believe she's in the Des Moines area.

Sgt. Paul Parizek says she suffers from dementia and several other medical conditions.

Mrs. Crenshaw is described as 5’01”, 155 lbs, with blue eyes and gray hair. She was last known to be wearing a black-colored leather coat and black-colored pants. She was driving a gray-colored 2013 Chevy Sonic with the license plate number BEN 961.

If anyone has any information about Mrs. Crenshaw’s current, or recent, location, the Des Moines Police Department requests that you please call 911.
