Three Mexican citizens, a Californian, and a person from State Center, Iowa will spend years in federal prison for selling meth in Waterloo, Marshalltown and Des Moines.

The ring leader, Octavio Fierros of Mexico got 35 years without parole for trafficking meth. The others received ten years or less.

The US Attorneys Office says the meth was delivered from Kansas City to Des Moines and sold over a period of a few months. It had a street value of over a million dollars.

All five were sentenced in US District Court in Cedar Rapids.
