DES MOINES, Iowa - Apparently the sky is the limit when it comes to the Central Iowa Airshow in Ankeny.
A small plane put smiley faces high over Central Iowa Friday afternoon, spelling out AIRSHOW in the first run.
Three shows are scheduled Friday through Sunday at the Ankeny Regional Airport 3700 S.E. Convenience Blvd. in Ankeny
The Friday night performance includes live music and pyrotechnics.
Open 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. Friday; and 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children 6-12.
Weekend passes are $25 adults, $15 children 6-12.
Ages 5 and under are free.
