High Wind Advisory continues in Iowa, Nebraska Tuesday

DES MOINES, Iowa - A Wind Advisory is in effect from Eastern Nebraska through most of Iowa today, and a High Wind Warning is posted for part of Northern Iowa.

In Eastern Nebraska, from Omaha to the north, and in Western Iowa the Wind Advisory ends at noon, according to the National Weather Service in Omaha.

For the rest of Iowa, the Wind Advisory ends at 4 this afternoon, and the High Wind Warning in Northern Iowa ends at 10 a.m. posted by the National Weather Service in Des Moines.

Drivers of high profile trucks and even SUVs will feel the wind most on the interstates and other open roads today.
