Def Leppard, ZZ Top Coming to Des Moines

DES MOINES, Iowa - Def Leppard and ZZ Top are coming to Des Moines.

The Vision 20/20 Tour featuring the well known rock bands will make a stop at the Wells Fargo Arena on October 10th.

British band Def Leppard has been popular in the U.S. since the 1980's, while Texas based Z.Z. Top became a staple on American radio in the 1970's.

Def Leppard will headline a stadium tour in larger cities this summer before launching its schedule with ZZ Top.

The stadium tour will feature Poison, Motley Crue and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts.

Tickets for Def Leppard and ZZ Top in Des Moines go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, February 21st at 10 a.m. at Hy-VeeTix.com and LiveNation.com.

Comments on Def Leppard's website were highly complimentary toward ZZ Top:

“What a year this is going to be! First, sold out stadiums, then we get to go on tour with the mighty ZZ Top! Having been an admirer of the band for a lifetime it’s gonna be a real pleasure to finally do some shows together…maybe some of us will get to go for a spin with Billy in one of those fancy cars …”
