DES MOINES, Iowa -- The Iowa Department of Transportation has a new leader.
Gov. Kim Reynolds is appointing Scott Marler as the new Iowa DOT Director. Her office says his appointment is effective immediately.
Marler is currently the DOT's Operations Division Director. He's been with the department for 22 years.
Marler replaces Mark Lowe, who resigned as Iowa DOT Director last month.
