The Rock Island, Illinois County Health department is confirming a COVID-19 Coronavirus outbreak at the Tyson meat processing plant in Joslin.
County Health Department Administrator Nita Ludwig says there are two deaths and 92 cases among Rock Island County residents who work at the plant.
The county health department is expected to have more firm case numbers on Thursday.
Illinois has over 50,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19, with over 2,200 deaths across 96 counties.
