More Test Iowa sites opening next week

DES MOINES, Iowa -- New Test Iowa COVID-19 coronavirus testing locations are opening next week in Marshalltown, Sioux Center, and Council Bluffs.

Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds said this week testing is being expanded to any Iowan who wants to be tested, regardless of symptoms or potential exposure to the virus.

To be tested, Iowans have to do an assessment at the Test Iowa website where they can schedule an appointment.

Gov. Reynolds' office also says the Sioux City Test Iowa site is closing when testing concludes at 6:00 p.m. Friday, May 22nd. The site opened on May 4th.

Testing in Sioux City can be done through local health care providers and the new Test Iowa site in Sioux Center.

There will be 11 Test Iowa sites across the state next week.
