World's Largest Cornucopia on Display at Iowa Church

WASHINGTON, Iowa - What's billed as the world’s largest cornucopia display is now in place at the Marion Avenue Baptist Church in Washington.

The display goes back 45 years, but was discontinued over the past decade when the church focused on a Christmas production.

It's been brought back this year after COVID-19 restrictions forced the cancellation of the Christmas production.

The 20-foot-long cornucopia is a giant goat's horn which is overflowing with more than a dozen different fruits.

It's open to the public this week from Monday through Wednesday, and anyone is welcome to have their picture taken with the display.

Washington is about 30 miles south of Iowa City on Highway 1.
