(Undated) -- Iowan and Olympic runner Karissa Schweizer is scheduled to race Friday morning. The 25-year-old from Urbandale competes in the Women's 5,000 meter run at 5:00 a.m. CT.
Schweizer holds the American record in the indoor 3,000 meters and placed ninth in the 5-thousand meters at the 2019 IAAF World Championships.
She is also set to race in the 10,000 meters.
