(Polk County, IA) -- The Polk County Sheriff's Office is releasing the name of a man, killed in crash near Grimes. Forty-seven-year-old Faustino Mendez Castro of Perry was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 141 yesterday (Monday). His car was rear-ended and pushed into a trailer being towed by a pick-up.
The Polk County Sheriff's Office says evidence and witness statements indicate southbound traffic was stopped for a red light when the driver of a Ford truck failed to stop and rear ended a car driven by Mendez Castro.
