National Weather Service meteorologists say the extended forecast suggests strong ridging over the western two thirds of the U.S. at the start of December, which is a pattern that favors above average temperatures and drier than average weather in Nebraska and Iowa.
For the rest of this Thanksgiving Holiday weekend, WOWT 6 News' Senior Chief Meteorologist Rusty Lord says Saturday will be another mild day, but there is a chance of a few morning showers, and there will be a few more clouds.
He says highs in the 50's will feel colder from northwest winds that gust to near 35 mph.
He expects highs Sunday in the upper 40's.
