Animal Rescue League of Iowa Celebrates Turkey-Day PHOTOS

(Des Moines, IA) -- The Animal Rescue League of Iowa celebrated Thanksgiving this week by offering a pet-friendly meal to animals in the ARL's care. The ARL released a video showing many of the pets feasting.

It's been a busy year for the ARL. The organization recently handled it's largest case, removing more than 500-dogs from a commercial breeder in Iowa. Breeder Daniel Gingrerich has been accused of 190 violations of the Animal Welfare Act.
