(Ames, IA) -- The City of Ames is auctioning off 64-bicycles that were abandoned and unclaimed. Most are adult-sized bikes, but some are for children. Some bicycles are valuable, others could go for a few dollars and used for parts.
There's a viewing Thursday, December 2nd, between 11 and 12:30, the silent auction ends December 6th.
Proceeds from the silent auction go in the city's general fund.
