(Undated) -- The Iowa Department of Education releases this year's ratings for all the state's public schools. The ratings show 19 schools are performing at an exceptional rate, which is down from 25 last year. The number of priority schools, which is the lowest rating, is at 67, up from 44 last year. The Department of Education uses several factors to determine school ratings, including standardized test scores, absenteeism, and discipline. Ratings for every Iowa public school are available here.
