(Urbandale, IA) -- Urbandale Police say a man who was stabbed in the arm and shot-at earlier this month, is now facing weapons and drug charges. Police say 46-year-old Tonnica Lovan stabbed 53-year-old David Passman with a large knife December 19th, during an argument at a residence in the 7400 block of Canterbury Road. She was taken into custody without incident. Passman was treated at a local hospital.
Police say Lovan fired a gun, but missed Passman. Lovan is facing Attempted Murder. Willful Injury Causing Serious Injury, and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
Passman has been taken into custody for the following charges:
Trafficking in Stolen Weapons, Control of a Fireman by a Felon, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
