(Des Moines, IA) -- Monday's slight warm-up will not last long. The National Weather Service is predicting another cold front is due to arrive Tuesday night, bringing a chance of light snow in northern Iowa in the evening.
National Weather Service forecasters also say an additional arctic blast moves in Wednesday night into Thursday, sending temperatures back into the single digits with wind chill values on Wednesday and Thursday night around 20 below zero or colder for portions of the state.
Forecasters say any snow this week looks to be very light, if any, with minimal.
