(Ames, IA) -- Stephens Auditorium in Ames will host Dinosaur World Live February 11th. The production offers puppetry to life-like dinosaurs on stage- including the Tyrannosaurus Rex, along with a Giraffatitan, Microraptor, Segnosaurus and Triceratops.

“Every year we look for fun and affordable family shows for our Performing Arts Series at Stephens,” said Tammy Koolbeck, Stephens Auditorium’s Executive Director.  “We feel fortunate to be able to bring this show to Ames on its 2nd U.S. Tour and with the support of our performing arts donors, we have $10 tickets to this show.”

The show features "Miranda," daughter of palaeontologists, who grew up surrounded by dinosaurs on a far-away island off the coast of South America. She has brought her pre-historic pals to our shores and would love you to meet them. Warning: some of these dinosaurs aren’t as docile as they seem!
