Iowa Man Charged In Ex-Wife's Murder

(Dickinson County, IA) -- An Iowa man is charged in the shooting death of his ex-wife in northwest Iowa. Investigators say Christian Goyne-Yarns shot his ex-wife in Milford last week. Shelby Woizechke died yesterday (Sunday) in a Sioux Falls, SD hospital. Goyne-Yarns was booked into the Dickinson County Jail after the shooting. He's now facing a first-degree murder charge. His bond has been increased to $1 million.

KITV reports the morning of Feb. 3 Goyne-Yarns approached Shelby Woizeschke in the parking lot of GrapeTree Medical Staffing and shot her. Woizescheke was able to call 911 and identify her ex-husband as the man who had shot her. Woizescheke was was sent to a local hospital before being transferred to a hospital in Sioux Falls where she died on Feb. 6.
