(Linn County, IA) -- An Iowa State Patrol trooper pulled over a speeder Monday, clocked going 124 miles per hour. The driver of the Tesla was stopped on Highway 30 in Linn County.

The picture, posted by District 11 of the ISP on social media comes with a message to drivers:

We tell motorists TIME and TIME again that SPEED is one of the leading contributing factors in crashes. #speedkills

Clearly, this Tesla driver from yesterday (Hwy. 30 Linn County) wasn’t worried or listening. Maybe a fine and possible loss of driving privileges will help them understand? #drivesafe #slowdown
