Unity Point Health-Iowa Encouraging Acts of Kindness To Healthcare Workers

(Undated) -- UnityPoint Health is offering some Valentine's Day suggestions to support healthcare workers

UnityPoint Health is offering the following acts of kindness today or any day.

  • Send an e-card on the UnityPoint Health website. Individuals wishing to send an e-card to UnityPoint Health – Des Moines need to visit unitypoint.org/help, select “Des Moines” under Thank a Caregiver and then, write Location (hospital/clinic name) text box.
  • Send handwritten cards.
  • Donate blood.
  • Give to the UnityPoint Health - Des Moines Foundation, who supports the work going on at Iowa Methodist, Iowa Lutheran, Methodist West, Blank Children’s Hospital, John Stoddard Cancer Center, UnityPoint Clinic, UnityPoint at Home, Taylor Hospice House and Eyerly Ball Community Mental Health Services.
  • Get your COVID-19 vaccine or booster.

Unity Point is encouraging the acts of kindness, especially in light of healthcare workers dealing with the pandemic for the past two years.
