Trooper Hurt In Western Iowa Crash

(Loveland, Iowa) -- A state trooper has minor injuries after a western Iowa crash. The Iowa State Patrol says troopers were helping a driver on I-29 (southbound) near Loveland (MM 68) just after 1 a.m. when the driver of a Honda Civic lost control and hit a guard rail, then crashed into a trooper's patrol vehicle. The driver of the Honda Civic is expected to be okay, but the I-S-P says the passenger has life-threatening injuries. Those injured were taken to University of Nebraska Medicine in Omaha and Missouri Valley Hospital. The
