(Undated) -- Iowa Hawkeye men's basketball standout Keegan Murray is entering the N-B-A draft. Murray made the announcement today (Tuesday) on Twitter. The Hawkeye sophomore led Iowa in points, rebounds, shooting-percentage, and blocks. He set the school single-season scoring record as well. Murray was voted Big Ten Tournament Most Outstanding Player. He was voted first-team All American.

Murray is also a semifinalist for the Wooden Award, a finalist for the Karl Malone Power Forward of the Year, and a finalist for the Naismith Player of the year. He's projected to be a top 5 draft pick, according to ESPN.

Murray said during a University of Iowa news conference today that he put thoughts about entering the draft out of his mind until after the season. He says when the season ended he began to talk about his next step with his family.

Keegan Murray leaves his twin brother Chris behind, to continue playing for Iowa.
