Police Investigate Possible Road Rage Shooting In SE Cedar Rapids

(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Two people are recovering after being shot at while driving in southeast Cedar Rapids. The victims told police they believed it was a case of "road rage." Police say someone in a white SUV fired at them, while trying to pass in the 800 block of 15th Street SE last night around 10 p.m.. The victims told police there were an unknown number of people in the SUV.

Those injured are both in their 20s. Their injuries are described as non-life threatening. Police say they were transported to a Cedar Rapids hospital and expected to be okay.
