(Undated) -- An Iowa Hawkeye football player is getting a lot of positive social media attention for his good deed. Redshirt freshman linebacker Zach Twedt of Story City recently changed a tire for a woman on the interstate. The driver, Tina Gunn of Omaha, posted a story about it on social media, thanking Twedt for stopping and helping a stranger. Her post has been shared more than 6,000 times.
Gunn writes she got a flat tire, while driving from Minnesota to her her home in Omaha. She says she while she was trying to request roadside assistance, her son told her "someone is here."
"...Like this guy appeared out of no where, dressed in Iowa Hawkeye gear and goes, “Can I help you?” Long story short, his name is Zach Twedt, football player for Iowa Hawkeyes…I just wanted to appreciate him for being so kind and helping a stranger out, who needed to get her kids home safely. He could’ve kept going, but he didn’t! What a good dude! May God reward him for his kindness today!" -Tina Gunn.
