One Person Hurt In Iowa City House Fire

(Iowa City, IA) -- One person is recovering after an Iowa City house fire. Crews were called to a home in the 1000 block of Woodlawn Avenue Sunday morning. Iowa's News Now reports a passerby had called 911 after seeing the fire. One person in the home was able to escape, was treated by firefighters at the scene, then taken to a local hospital. The Iowa City Fire Department says crews had the fire out by around 10:30 a.m. Damage is estimated at $385,000. The cause of the fire remains under investigation
