Ogden Man Dies After Central Iowa Crash

(Boone County, IA) -- The Iowa State Patrol is releasing more details about a fatal crash in Boone County this week. The ISP says a Chevy Silverado, driven by 34-year-old Brian Lage of Ogden, rear-ended a larger construction truck on Highway 30 Monday, December 12th at 5:20 p.m. The ISP says both trucks were traveling westbound when the larger truck slowed to turn off the highway onto a private field drive (R Avenue) and the collision happened.

Lage was pronounced dead at Boone County Hospital. The driver of the construction vehicle, 63-year-old Edward Adams of Pleasant Hill was not injured.
