Charges against Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison were dropped by a Florida state attorney on Tuesday (January 20), Hillsborough County court records obtained by ESPN confirmed.

State attorney Susan Lopez wrote that Addison's $500 bond should be released in connection with his arrest during a visit to Noodle Bar at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on January 12. A police report accused Addison of refusing to leave the casino despite being asked to do so several times, at which point police were dispatched and attempted to escort him out at 3:24 a.m. local time.

Addison, 23, was charged with a first-degree misdemeanor trespass in an occupied structure or conveyance on January 12, having previously been arrested twice since being selected No. 23 overall in the 2023 NFL Draft. The former USC standout was previously cited for driving 140 MPH on a Minnesota freeway in July 2023, less than two months before the start of his first NFL season, and agreed to plead guilty to a misdemeanor speeding charge, which resulted in his reckless driving charged being dismissed and paying $686 in fines.

Addison was arrested the following offseason on suspicion of driving under the influence after police found him sleeping behind the wheel of a vehicle parked on a freeway near Los Angeles International Airpot, pleading no contest to a "wet reckless" charge. The 23-year-ol was placed on probation for 12 months and ordered to pay a $390 fine, while also being suspended for the first three games of the 2025 NFL season.

The Vikings also benched the wide receiver the first quarter of their London game against the Cleveland Browns in Week 5 after he missed a walkthrough practice. Addison, who has recorded 175 receptions for 2,396 yards and 22 touchdowns through his first three seasons, is eligible for a contract extension this spring with the Vikings' No. 3 wide receiver Jalen Nailor scheduled to be a free agent this offseason.

"Jordan is unique because 99% of the days that Jordan Addison is a Viking, he's a joy to be around," said Vikings general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah via ESPN. "He's incredibly intelligent, confident, responsible. And then it's like all of us: What are you like on those 1% of days? Is it the type of thing that draws attention or not? Obviously that's something we have to consider when you're talking about long-term ramifications of a contract extension and different things like that, or letting somebody like Jalen Nailor leave.
