(Des Moines, IA) -- Governor Kim Reynolds appoints a new Director of the Iowa Department of Revenue.
Former state auditor Mary Mosiman will replace Kraig Paulsen. Mosiman is the department's Deputy Director and Tax Management Division Administrator.
In a statement, Reynolds said:
"Mary’s leadership of the department’s tax division and her service as co-sponsor of a multi-year tax modernization effort have prepared her well to serve as director of this critical state department. Mary is an exceptional public servant and I look forward to her serving in my cabinet.”
Mosiman's appointment is effective March 29.
