(Johnson County, IA) -- A pig that briefly escaped captivity this (Tuesday) morning and fell off a trailer, was scooped up by an Iowa DOT employee, operating a mower along U.S. 218 south of Iowa City. The DOT posted this picture on social media of the young pig gazing out at the landscape.

The pig appeared to enjoy the brief ride before the Johnson County Sheriff's Office was notified and made arrangements to return the pig to its owner.
