Iowa Gas Prices Down to Start the Week

(Iowa) -- Iowans are seeing some relief at the pump to start the week.

Triple A reports the average price for regular unleaded in Iowa is $3.84 a gallon, a drop of nine cents from this time last week. Prices vary regionally across the state, including:

  • Des Moines: $3.87
  • Ames: $3.91
  • Cedar Rapids: $3.88
  • Iowa City: $3.91
  • Quad Cities (Iowa side): $3.82
  • Quad Cities (Illinois side): $3.99
  • Dubuque: $3.89
  • Waterloo/Cedar Falls: $3.84
  • Sioux City: $3.86
  • Council Bluffs: $3.70

The national average price for regular unleaded is $3.88 a gallon.
