Homeless Veterans Stand Down Event Happening in Des Moines Starting Friday

(Des Moines, IA) -- The 2024 Homeless Veterans Stand Down is happening starting today Friday in Des Moines helping homeless veterans or veterans in danger of becoming homeless.

Services available to veterans will include food, haircuts, school supplies, COVID-19 and flu vaccines, legal assistance, and more. The event begins on Friday, September 13th, and runs through Sunday, September 15th. Volunteers and donations are welcome.
